Law firms
Colorado’s Rule 1.6(c) requires lawyers to make reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized disclosure of client information, and Rule 1.1 comment [8] expects them to keep up with changes in technology. Rules 5.1 and 5.3 extend that duty to the staff and vendors you rely on.
